Security and privacy
- Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).
- Location is captured at the moment of marking attendance, not tracked continuously.
- Staff should be told clearly what is recorded and when.
Known limitations
Stated plainly, because finding these out during implementation is worse than knowing them now.
- Accuracy degrades indoors and in dense urban areas.
- An employee who denies location permission cannot mark GPS attendance.
