Refund and Cancellation Policy

How subscriptions and project engagements can be cancelled, when a refund is due, and how long it takes to reach you.

Effective

In short

You can cancel a subscription at any time and it runs to the end of the period you have paid for. New subscriptions carry a 14-day refund window. Project work is billed for what has been delivered. Refunds are returned by the original payment method within 7 to 14 business days of approval.

This summary is for orientation only. The full text below is what applies.

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to subscriptions and services purchased directly from AnantaTech Hub, and to implementation and onboarding services delivered under an agreed scope.

Where a product is purchased through a third-party store — for example Google Play, the Apple App Store or the Microsoft Store — that store's refund process applies to the transaction, because the store is the merchant of record. Contact them first; we will help where we can.

Where a signed agreement or order form contains its own cancellation or refund terms, those terms take precedence over this policy.

2. Cancelling a subscription

You may cancel a subscription at any time, without giving a reason and without a cancellation fee.

  • Cancellation stops the next renewal. It does not end the period you have already paid for.
  • Your service continues to the end of the current billing period, and you keep full access until then.
  • We do not pro-rate a partly used month or year on cancellation, except where the 14-day window below applies or where the law requires it.
  • To cancel, use the cancellation option in the product where one is provided, or write to us using the contact details at the end of this policy.

We acknowledge a cancellation request within 2 business days and confirm in writing when it has taken effect.

3. The 14-day refund window

If you are a new subscriber and the product does not do what we described, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment.

We ask that you tell us what did not work, so that we have the chance to fix it. If we cannot resolve it within that window, the refund is made in full.

The window applies once per customer per product, to a first subscription rather than to a renewal, and does not apply to a plan that has been used beyond a reasonable evaluation of whether it fits.

4. Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date. We give notice before an annual renewal is charged and before any price change takes effect for you.

If an automatic renewal is charged after you asked us to cancel, tell us and we will refund it in full. That is our error, not an exception.

5. Implementation and onboarding services

Implementation, data migration, training and onboarding are delivered against an agreed scope and are billed for work performed rather than by subscription.

  • Either party may terminate an engagement on the notice period stated in the statement of work.
  • On termination, we invoice for work completed and accepted up to that date, and for costs already committed to third parties on your instruction.
  • Advance payments are set against work delivered. Any unused balance is refunded.
  • Where we have not started work, an advance is refunded in full.
  • Work already delivered and accepted is not refundable, because it cannot be returned.

We hand over the deliverables produced up to the termination date, in the form the statement of work specifies.

6. When a refund is not due

We state these plainly so that expectations are clear before you buy.

  • A change of mind after the 14-day window on a subscription that is working as described.
  • Downtime or disruption caused by a third-party platform, network or device outside our control.
  • A feature that was never described as available — availability statuses on this site are published for exactly this reason, and "on request" or "coming soon" is not a commitment.
  • Loss caused by data you entered incorrectly, or by output used for a statutory filing without being checked.
  • An account suspended or terminated for breach of our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Charges for a period during which the service was available to you and you chose not to use it.

7. How to request a refund

Write to contact@anantatechhub.com with the account or invoice number, the payment date and amount, and the reason for the request. If the request relates to something not working, describe what happened so we can look into it.

StageTimeline
We acknowledge your requestWithin 2 business days
We decide, and tell you the reason either wayWithin 7 business days
Approved refund is initiatedWithin 2 business days of the decision
Funds reach your account7 to 14 business days from initiation, depending on your bank or card issuer

Refunds are made to the original payment method. We do not refund to a different account, because doing so would create an obvious avenue for fraud. If the original method has closed, we will ask you for verified bank details in writing.

Refunds are made in the currency of the original payment. We do not compensate for movement in exchange rates or for fees your own bank or card issuer charges.

8. Taxes on refunds

Where Goods and Services Tax was charged on the original invoice, a refund is processed against a credit note issued in accordance with the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and the tax component is refunded with it. Where you have already claimed input tax credit, you are responsible for reversing it as the law requires.

9. If you disagree with our decision

Tell us. A refund decision can be escalated to our Grievance Officer under our Grievance Redressal Policy, which sets out the timelines we commit to and the route beyond us if you remain unsatisfied.

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.

Please raise a dispute with us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. A chargeback raised while we are actively resolving a request may lead to the account being suspended until the bank's process concludes.
