Security and privacy

• Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).
• Biometric templates stay on the device; only punch events are imported.
• Attendance data is restricted to HR and payroll roles.

Known limitations

Stated plainly, because finding these out during implementation is worse than knowing them now.

• Devices on isolated networks may need a local agent to relay data.
