Setup requirements

  • A Google account with calendar access
  • OAuth consent granted by each user, or a Workspace-level connection
  • Choice of which calendar receives events

Permissions required

  • Read and write access to the selected calendar
  • Ability to invite the participants you list

Security and privacy

  • Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).
  • Credentials and tokens are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser.
  • Access can be revoked at any time from the provider's own account settings.

Known limitations

Stated plainly, because finding these out during implementation is worse than knowing them now.

  • Two-way behaviour and conflict handling are confirmed per configuration.
  • Google applies API rate limits on high-volume sync.
