Setup requirements

• Confirmation that the specific court or registry offers an authorised access method
• Any credentials or agreements that access requires
• Case numbers recorded in the correct format

Permissions required

• Whatever the specific court or provider requires — this varies by jurisdiction

Security and privacy

• Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).
• Credentials and tokens are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser.
• Access can be revoked at any time from the provider's own account settings.

Known limitations

Stated plainly, because finding these out during implementation is worse than knowing them now.

• Coverage is genuinely uneven across Indian courts; many provide no authorised programmatic access at all.
• We will not scrape a court site that does not permit it, so some courts simply cannot be supported.
• Each court is assessed individually before anything is promised.
