What this connects
Sales, purchase and payment data to Busy, where a large share of Indian SMB books are kept.
Supported workflows
- Exporting sales and purchase vouchers for the accountant
- Sharing ledger and item masters so names match
- Scheduled transfer at month or quarter end
Data exchanged
- Voucher entries with tax breakup
- Ledger and item masters
- Party details
Setup requirements
- A Busy installation with import or ODBC access enabled
- Agreement on ledger and item naming so entries map correctly
- A defined transfer frequency
Permissions required
- File or connector access to the Busy data directory
Security and privacy
- Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (TLS).
- Credentials and tokens are stored server-side and never exposed to the browser.
- Access can be revoked at any time from the provider's own account settings.
Known limitations
Stated plainly, because finding these out during implementation is worse than knowing them now.
- Busy's data model differs from a connected business system; mapping is agreed up front and some fields have no equivalent.
- Real-time two-way sync is not assumed; most setups use scheduled transfer.
