Why 77 of our 78 integrations say “on request”
A logo on a marketing page is not evidence that a connection works in production for your configuration. We would rather understate and be right.

What the statuses mean
| Status | Means | Does not mean |
|---|---|---|
| Available | In production use, against a verified source | That it fits your configuration without scoping |
| Beta | Working, in testing, subject to change | Production-ready or covered by a commitment |
| Via connector | Achievable through an intermediate platform | A direct, native integration |
| On request | We can scope and assess it for you | That it exists today, or that it will be built |
| Coming soon | Being worked on, with no committed date | A date you can plan around |
Why nearly all of them are conservative
The official material for our own products references a long list of well-known platforms. Every one of those could have appeared on this site as an integration, and it would have looked considerably more impressive.
A reference on a marketing page is not evidence that a connection is live, supported, and working for the particular version and configuration a given customer runs. Without that evidence, listing it as available is a claim we could not defend in the meeting where it mattered.
This costs us
It costs us in comparison. A prospect putting our integration list beside a competitor's will see a shorter one, and will not know that the difference is partly a difference in what each company is prepared to assert.
The alternative costs more. An integration listed optimistically is discovered during implementation, at the point where a customer has already committed, and that conversation damages more than a shorter list ever could.
What to do with an on-request status
Ask. Several of them are closer than the status suggests, and the honest answer for your specific setup is usually available within a day or two.
A status will move to available when there is a verified source behind it. That is a rule enforced in the content itself, not a policy anyone has to remember.
