Individually small, systematically directional
Differences of a fraction of a percent are within tolerance. Recorded per counterparty over months, they are sometimes not random, and that is a conversation worth having with evidence.
Deductions need itemising
Moisture, contamination and grade adjustments are applied at the buyer's discretion. Itemised and tracked, they become comparable between buyers; folded into a net figure they are simply accepted.
